Armor-Piercing, Fin-Stabilizing, Discarding Sabot-Tracer
The 120mm KE-W A1® cartridge has been developed to provide state-of-the-art tungsten Armor-Piercing, Fin-Stabilized, Discarding Sabot-Tracer (APFSDS-T) cartridges for 120mm smoothbore cannons.
Produced by General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, the KE-W A1® provides a high-performance alternative to depleted uranium projectiles. Incorporating the very latest in 120mm discarding sabot technology, the KE-W A1® has demonstrated excellent dispersion capability and the ability to defeat currently fielded armor targets.
This APFSDS-T cartridge was type-classified by the German Government, and was safety certified (2000) by the U.S. Government to be fully compatible with the M1A1, M1A2 and Leopard II (MBTs.) We are currently offering our KE-W A1® with a complete logistical support package.
