ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) announced today it has been awarded a $134M contract award from Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC) for the production of Launch Pod Containers (LPC) for the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS).

Production of GMLRS LPC will take place at GD-OTS facilities in Lincoln, Neb., and Springboro, Ohio through 2024. Additional contracts awarded by LMMFC earlier this year establishedand validated the new state-of-the-art automated production line that will manufacture LPCs to be used on the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and the M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Family of Launchers.
